Nice place to stay. Really close to Dam Square, which allows for easy access to city tours or other points of interest around the city; the downside to this is that the street is really crowded at night, which is not great when you are trying to get some sleep. Beds are fine, linens are included and there is storage available (you can even get a padlock from the counter). Cleanliness could be better in the common rooms, but it is not that bad either.
Very cramped, claustrophobic, not clean: dirty sheets/ pillow cases. The rooms smell of body odor and the bathroom was incredibly small and dirty. When we were leaving, another guy was confronting the front desk about getting bitten by bed bugs or something, he had large red welts all over his back and body. Do not recommend.
Great location, but a bar was right next to the hostel and drunks were out the window yelling until 4-5 am, this is not the hostels fault but if you want a good nights sleep, find a more quiet street
Great atmosphere, staff were incredible has us crying with laughter as we booked in, hostel does the job, it's a little cramped and small but it's a safe and half comfortable bed for the night and that's all you need!
The rooms were small, there wasn’t an elevator and bad wifi. The showers were nice.
The cleanliness & overall hygiene was not up to the standard we expected considering how overpriced it was. We arrived at our dorm to find our beds had not had the sheets changed or cleaned from the previous guests & we were also grossed out by how dirty the communal bathrooms were. My friend & I ended up having to share one of the only clean beds. We were also put into a 7 person dorm when we had booked a 6 person one. We ended up leaving 2 days early coz of how bad it was. Do not recommend.
The location is right in the middle pf the centre which is not the most beautiful place of amsterdam at all. The room is okay, spacefull, with your own big locker and...
